Default 3M Spray on Clear Film (Paint Defender)

Has anyone tried this 3M product? Looks like an inexpensive way to get some track day paint protection.

Nothing? OK, I'll be the guinea pig, give it a try and report back.

On a related topic, I just ordered for DIY this product for my windshield. I will read the instructions, but may end up going to a clear bra installer to have it applied.

PS, I think they should check their spelling!

Thanks, I had not seen SBPorsche's posting. Sounds like a nightmare but you have to wonder if that is normal or if his application was somehow off. Sounded pretty meticulous though...

I would get a pro to install it. It looks easy, and it is, but it's also easy to get bubbles, small creases, and dirt trapped beneath the film.
