Clear engine cover owners question
I'm trying to isolate some of the sounds I can hear from the engine when it is uncovered.
Has anyone noticed the air/swoosh sound going away from changing air intakes to something like a snorkel? That seems to be where the "white noise" you hear with a clear engine cover comes from.
I've got a 2006 987.1, not one of the DFI engines.
