No, no, no... If enough of us participate we could get one for time-share.

It'd just take 845 of us though.....

The thought did cross my mind. But, if Porsche is reaching this far down in the Rolodex, my chance of getting it and then turning a profit is probably pretty low

My guess is that they're sending these out to all registered (or former) GT3 owners.

I got one too a couple days ago and had to wonder about their marketing... and then the deal about the "special" Spyder program for first dibs at limited editon models in the future, which is NOT transferable!
If I ever won the lottery (which will be hard as I have never purchased a ticket) I'd get a McLaren F1 as my dream car anyway...

Hey Lewis,

This is scary. Just sold my guards red '10 GT3 and bought a 2013 silver Boxster S. How weird is that? Like you, after moving to Denver I found myself not as able to spend time on the track and the GT3, for me the ultimate Porsche, spent most of its time in the garage. Sold my trailer, the truck is next. I pick up the Boxster Wednesday and my wife is actually excited after two track cars.

That's too funny! I guess that like minds think alike I absolutely LOVE my Boxster, great to drive around town and the whole family gets to enjoy the car. I'll get back to the track, but, it will be in a proper track prepped car.

The trailer is going up for sale this weekend. Cannot, however, sell the truck. That may result in a revocation of my man card

Post pics of the new car - can't wait to see it!

Traded my '11 gt3 and got a Cayman R about a year ago, I've had 3 brand new 911 variants since 2009. Same dealer too. Love my CR and no regrets but I'm sad that I haven't seen one of these in my mailbox.

Instead I recently received a hard-bound 981 Cayman-propaganda-thing titled 'Code of The Curve'... Last year I got an acrylicy/plasticky 911 desk ornament thingie... Don't know why i still have this somewhere but the box and shipping easily cost triple the value of the trinket. I appreciated the gesture and though its not desk worthy I felt a little guilty about tossing it. Getting the crappy 'Code' sent to me seemed a little insulting, as if Porsche had conceded that I'd never consider a future GT car. Now I see this post with everyone getting the major scoop! I'm just a tad jealous
