Default Coolant for 987.1 Cayman S

I'm getting a "Check Coolant Level" message on my dash when I start my car that goes away after a couple of miles. I'm assuming it just needs a top of. Can anyone recommend an antifreeze I can use here in the NorthEast before I do a full flush this Spring?

Thanks.

The Audi/VW pink coolant should do and they should be less expensive than the Porsche brand.

This time of year (with the exception of this week's wild weather here) you should be able to top off with distilled water.

Your coolant capacity is around 6 gallons, even several quarts of distilled isn't going to dilute your freeze protection enough to worry about.

Make sure you do a vacuum refill or a careful multiple burps when you do the flush later on.
