What are the pros and cons of having and installing a Softronic plenum, throttle body and flash on a Cayman?

you dont say what year car but if its under factory warranty i would be concerned about the warranty being voided [if detected]. the other issue is what they claim vs what ya got. get a base dyno run then install the parts and dyno again.imho.

IPD plenumn and Softronics was a nice bump on my 3.4. Especially with a catback. If your car doesn't have sport chrono you can get sport turned on permanently too. That is nice.

have been very happy with my softronic flash, plenum/TB, and full back exhaust...has really transformed the car....short of turbo or tearing into the engine, its the best you can do.

Ditto. Made a positive difference! I did the Competition Plenum and GT3 TB, so the dyno sheets say that the high RPM benefits most. I'd have agree.
