Default PASM question

I have PASM on my '11 Boxster S.

I realized that I'm not clear on something about the PASM:

Does it have 3 modes -- OFF, Normal, Sport ?

Or only 2 -- Normal and Sport ?

When I start the car is it in Normal, or OFF ? (or are NORMAL and Off the same thing?)

TIA,

Normal and Sport. The shocks are constantly working - you can't turn them 'off'.

That's what I suspected but I wasn't sure. The confusion arose when I realized that if I simply turn on the car, there is no PASM indication on the dash, but if I press the PASM button it lights up 'SPORT' and if I press it again, it lights up 'NORMAL', leading me to think that maybe there was OFF, NORMAL **AND** SPORT.

Thanks again,

Fred
