Was wondering if any of you rennlister's know about this vehicle ? Just really wondering if most of you guy/gals prefer the base or save enough for the S ? Let me know what you think, seeing how I have never drove nether. Thank you for your input. I am a new rennlister just trying to learn more about P cars.

That's a lot of money for a 2.7 with that mileage. If you plan to track the car, I would save up for an S but the 2.7 certainly has enough power for daily use. I had a 2007 for two years and traded it on a 2007 3.4 S. If i was going to buy a used Cayman today, I would look for a second generation 2009 or newer. Many improvements were made and I expect them to depreciate less.

Yea after doing a little more more looking/ research I realized that I am glade I didn't make a dumb move. How do you like your S ? That has 295HP correct right ? I Know, I have read a few issue that seem to follow the 2.7, wondering if with the 3.4 issues will prevail after more mileage is tact on.

Yes, the first gen S has 295 HP. I like my car very much but it is slowly evolving into a track car. Almost all of the issues I have had are track related, power steering failure and air/oil separator failure. You can find a lot of information over at the Cayman Register and Planet 9 forums.
