I just bought a used porsche cayman s. At random times, but almost always shortly after I start the car after a long cool down, I hear a metallic grinding noise from the front of the car. It almost sounds like a high pressure of fluid going through a narrow pipe, but it sounds like some sort of a grinding noise. Is this normal on a porsche?

Have you checked your power steering fluid level? It sounds like you might be low.

The reservoir is at the front, left, top of the engine compartment. You will need to remove the top cover to access it.
