Default 2008 Cayman with 60k miles a good buy?

Hi All,

I am evaluating a 2008 Cayman that has 59800 miles on odo and asking price is $31k. I am wondering if its worth buying with high miles on odo.

This will be a daily driver with 10 miles and sometimes 30 miles a day. And occasionally will be taken on long trips. Automatic is important. I can't get a manual since my wife won't drive a stick.

What are the maintenance expenses i should be aware of? How reliable is this car and what FE should i expect from this.

Here is the link to car that i am evaluating. Another one i am considering is corvette. But i liked Cayman but this one has higher miles and i plan to keep it for atleast 5-6 years.

Thanks

These reptiles don't have a particular history of high mileage engine problems so go for it! My Cayman has similar miles but it's been somewhat modified now

Don't know if did it yet or not but price unless a CPO is high for base trip. That's what paid for an '06s with 32k miles last year. I'm thinking I saw some of these for in the like 26-27 range with mileage etc. as listed.
