Hello Everyone,
I just picked up my very first Porsche on last Friday. It's a 2009 Porsche Cayman S. Got it in Houston and drove it home to Oklahoma City. Now that is how you familiarize yourself with this kinda car! I can stop staring at it and have never made so many trip to go get a cola or pick something up at the store. I am simply loving this car!
A little about the car first. It is Meteor Gray, Carrera S II Wheels, Bilstein Shocks and Coil overs (about an inch lower) and 9800 miles when I got it. It is in prestine condition.
What are some things I should be aware of know? Common quirks, simple fixes, likely problems, etc...
Just getting familiar with it and am gonna start searching the forum, but wanted to introduce myself and get the advice of those of you who are much more experienced than myself.
THANKS

Nice!!!!!! I see they did a little work to this baby and I'm loving it. If I would have saw it last weekend, I think I might have bought that one instead of the 987c that I have but I'm not sorry for what I did get. This is my 3rd Porsche (2000 Boxster, which was T-Boned and totaled, 2002 Boxster S and now a SWEET 2008 Cayman).

The biggest quirk is that you constantly go out to your garage to look at it. You take the longest way home just to drive it more.

Great looking car and love the wheels. there is a very active cayman group over at Planet-9. there is a whole list of things you can do to your car for easy fixed listed in the articles section over there.
The other great thing about the car. 2 cases of wine and 2 weeks worth of dry cleaning fit in the front trunk very easily.
