Frank

Just stumbled on your thread. Look forward to running with you soon. I am thinking that wing moves you out of "H" to "I" but I am no expert.

Bob - love your Avatar! Wing was a gift from my wife. It will come off for racing. Would a Cayman R wing keep me in H?

The avatar picture is from the HSR/Interseries Enduro race at Monticello. I got a little loose/sideways coming around the corner by the clubhouse trying to reel in the Apple car on the way to victory with help from my co-driver Spencer ***. A nice guy taking amateur pictures at the track caught the action. He told me it was his best picture of the day and thoughtfully emailed it to me.

Don't know the answer on the "R" wing. If you want to be certain, it is best to confirm with Walt Frick at PCA Club Racing.

Default How was your maiden voyage

Frank, how did it go last week? I was hoping to see you but our paths didn't cross. I believe you would be ok to run Cayman R wing in H class, but as advised confirm with PCA.

I only did the JSR DE last week as I'd still be a moving obstacle in the races.

Car ran great and I think I now have the last bugs fixed with the AIM system and the camera. Cool suit is now also installed. I will be at Thunderbolt this weekend with NNJR and the Lime Rock with CVR. I'm only missing Pocono and then I have all the local tracks at least once.

I was going to see Mike at Bodymotion as he used to maintain my RSA but never got around to it.

How did the race go for you?

Frank, the weekend went well, although for some reason I class was classed with the GT cars in the Red Group and GTB-1 was classed in Yellow with the stock class cars, go figure.

Had a 2nd and two 1st places. Had a battle with John G in I class in race 2 and 3 but he ran away from me in race 1. Had a tough time getting by a fellow racer in a 993 Cup in race 3, it took me 6 attempts to get by him into turn 1. The track was fast most of the weekend with as many as 10 track records falling.
You can see the video of my "perserverance" here:
