Default Access to airfilter

I'm thinking of replacing my factory air filter with a K&N drop in air filter. Any ideas on how to get to it and are there any things I should be aware of when trying to do this?

Go to SPYDA website, there is a DIY.

FWIW, I would go with a BMC filter over K&N, I just think it's a little better quality and they oil them lightly, so less chance of fouling the MAF sensor.
