Default Basalt Black in the Mountains of NH

About a month ago my wife and I took a drive to New Hampshire to experience the Kancamagus Highway and to see what the Spyder is capable of.

It was an awesome drive and it reinforced just how much I love this car.

I still refreshed and energized after taking the Spyder out for a drive. It's rare to have a car that does everything right.

Here are a few shots my wife took....

Afshin,

awesome pictures, really jealous of all the greenery

everything here is brown, we can't water the grass, can't wash cars

the Spyder really is something special, poster boy for any scenery, even our burned out Texas landscapes

happy Driving,
Steve

Looks great! Area reminds me of the Blue Ridge Pkwy.

Thanks guys.

What's interesting is that I've found I don't have to go that far to have fun in the Spyder. It is just as much fun to drive down a two lane road near the house as it is in the mountains of NH. In fact I have found my favorite places to drive are narrow roads through heavily wooded areas on a warm sunny day. It reminds me of high speed descents on a mountain bike on a beautiful single track with the wind blowing by and the smell of the trees surrounding you. The precision of the Spyder gives the sense that the wheels are directly connected to the steering wheel and any minor input is transmitted. Visceral. This one's a keeper

Round trip was about 500 miles. My wife's only complaint was that she couldn't recline the seats to take a nap on the way back. My only complaint was the traffic and speed enforcement.

Scenery is similar but the road conditions are not. Blue Ridge has superior roads, higher speeds and less traffic. Not to mention if you get a ticket on the blue ridge you won't get any points, just a fine.
