This past weekend I installed my Alcantara GTS steering wheel. I followed the instructions and disconnected the battery, pushed the airbag release spring. Then disconnected the steering cable then the airbag ground and two plugs. I removed the original wheel and replaced with the new one. After several alignment attempts, I finally got the wheel on straight. After reinstall and battery reconnect, my dash lit up like a christmas tree. I cleared all the fault codes via my durametric tool. I can't seem to erase two airbag codes... 8007 and 8008. Are these codes only the dealer can reset? I tried a search with no luck.
