Default another 18 vs 19 question

so i'm shopping around for an '09, '10 cayman s, and i'm wondering about the ride quality of 19's on this car. i'm not interested in track performance or visual appeal. since PASM is nearly impossible to find i'm mostly concerned about ride quality issues using 19's WITHOUT PASM. my preference would be to locate a car with 18's but it looks like the majority of 'S' cars come with 19's and no PASM. so, how concerned should i be about the 19's on the street in normal driving conditions? since i drive a 997s with 19's and PASM, i'm very familiar with the how it works and i love the ride in the 997s with PASM in the off position. PASM engaged in my car is a bit too jarring for the street, the track is a different story altogether.

I've put about 180 miles on my Spyder with 19's and I don't think its uncomfortable. Yes you will feel the bumps in the road but it's not jarring. YMMV considering the Spyder uses lower tire pressures but firmer suspension.
