Have an 08 Cayman S and wonder how well the softronic OBD2 upgrade has worked for those who have bought it? Pretty happy with the motor now but 15more hp for under $900. sounds good. Just would like feedback from someone who has been there ,done that..Thanks

I did the Softronic flash only, on my '06 when it came out, and to tell the truth, I couldn't tell much difference with the butt dyno. On the other hand, combining it with a free-flowing exhaust and the larger race plenum (also sold by Softronic) made a noticable difference.
Softronic also allows you to have the Sport Chrono settings (for those who don't have Sport Chrono) for sharper throttle response, decreased PSM intrusion, and a higher rev limit if desired.
FYI: you will find much more info and owner experience with Softronic in the Cayman, over on Planet-9.com.

I did mine with an exhaust and plenum from the get go. You can definately feel a difference on the track. On the street not much difference since the gain is mostly where you never rev it.
