I'm in the market to buy a used cayman s some summertime.

only problem is that it has to be automatic. Now i know the ones in my price range wont have the PDK and only tiptronic. Should I even bother getting an auto cayman or go with some other slushbox car that is designed as a slushbox car. Mainly AMG's

 

I have a Tip CS and am very happy with it. I wouldn't recommend getting the non-S Cayman with a Tip.
The Cayman and AMGs are really 2 very different animals - the Cayman being a mid-engined sports car and the AMGs are more like German muscle cars. So, I guess it really depends on what you are looking for.
