Our Boxster Spyder's radio automatically turns on every time we start the car. Is this configurable?

Mine does not come on when the car is started. I don't know if this is configurable?

Mine comes on if I had it on before I turned the car off but it does not come on if it was off. I find I rarely have the radio on unless it's a long trip.
