What is the normal average lifespan of the clutch when using the car normally as a daily driver without a track time?

Totally depends on the driver. You can burn it out with stoplight clutch dumps much sooner than any track sessions. Mine was changed at 64k miles by the PO as a data point.

With proper driving, I'd like to think the clutch can easily reach 80-100k miles. Of course that's harder to do in San Francisco than Topeka.

I sold my 2005 S in early 2017 with 92k miles, running strong with everything working fine.

Just picked up my Cayman S from a health check at BGB Motorsports here in Ormond Beach. Still just shy of 145k and thanks to them all is well or if not...they can handle anything that comes up with great competence and expertise. John and his crew are the best that I’ve ever dealt with. Quite an impressive bunch of guys. The peace of mind is priceless, knowing that my CS daily driver is in good hands. A group this good is hard to find.

Back when I purchased my 987S, it had around 80,000 on the clock. As the service history was lacking, I did all of the preventive items such as, oil and filter, brake fluid flush, air filters, etc...
The only issues I had to deal with, other than PM, was the sagging headliner and window regulator motor. Of course the clutch went out 2,000 miles later.....wish that was something you gauge (like brake pad wear) as I would have negotiated that in the price. Solid car otherwise....needed nothing when I sold it at 86k miles.
