Default Picture and Nice Weather in NY...

Finally had a chance to detail and take a drive with the with the top down. Great weekend in NY with temps in the 70's. It's meteor grey with all the goodies including the sport exhaust. So far I'm really enjoying it

I'm not one for grey, but with that level of detailing, it really looks sharp! Enjoy the balmy weather while you can!

Hey Bob,

The car looks great! I just started detailing my car and hope to enjoy some nice winding roads again soon.

Best regards,
Dino

I don't think you see a lot of 987s with the sport exhaust because it was a pretty pricey option. I think dealers like to keep 987s within a certain price range and don't want to use up $ that may price the car out of what most buyers expect to pay for a Boxster, when there may be other options that they feel are more important to buyers.

Best regards,
Dino

Thanks everyone, we had a summer weather tease this past weekend and it was great. I put on over a 100 miles with top down, can't wait for summer. I used P21S wax for the first time after using a clay bar on the entire car. I've been a Zaino user for 10 years and always loved the results.
This time I tried something new and while it looks very good, you can't beat the shine you get with Zaino! Now to get rid of the lobster claws and move into some new wheels and clear side markers of course.

The car sure looks great. We were in the mid 60's here too but I didn't have a chance to drive the Box. Had company from So Cal all weekend.

Can't wait till this weekend. Home alone and wife will be in LA for 5 days......
