Hey drivers!

The Kentucky Region Porsche Club of America still has a few spots available for the best time you've ever had in your car. Our Pumpkin Run Driver Education event is being held October 23 - 25 at Putnam Park Road Course (South West of Indianapolis area). If you're interested, we encourage you register soon, as we'll be closing sign-up on 10/16. If you're not sure about what a DE is, it's essentially a controlled environment where we teach you to drive your car. For more information please read the following PCA definition:

http://www.pca.org/Activities/DriverEducation.aspx

In short, for a mere 300.00 you'll receive eight 25 minute sessions on the track, an assigned instructor / classroom time (if needed), plus dinner and drinks on Friday & Saturday. If you're an advanced driver, there is also a open lapping session available on Friday.

If you're a little apprehensive about participating in a Driver Education, or taking your car on the track, we still encourage you to come on out and see what it's all about! I seriously suspect you will have a great time! There is plenty to see, some very cool cars, and great track spectator seats. We love spreading the fun so much we'll even let you attend the track classroom sessions as a non participant (subject to space constraints) if you want to learn more.

Okay, so maybe your feeling courageous and roller coasters bore you? We also offer an Intro to DE program, which allows you to be a passenger in an instructors car for a session. All this requires is a 25.00 fee and a signed waiver. We provide the rest... The Intro to DE is very popular, so it's subject to instructor availability and the number of participants.

If all that wasn't enough to get you to come out, we'll have a 2010 Panamera on display. Love it or hate it, it will be there to see in all it's four door splendor.
