I think they're building in October and delivery date is questionable. My dealer said because of the fancy options they might have to finish it in Germany which might delay delivery for a while. I'm not in a rush, I'd rather have the right car.

Hadn't seen a white boxster locally until just yesterday one went by me going the other way - had some aerokit stuff installed and chromed wheels - not my cup of tea but holy smokes it was very striking and got your attention - I just about drove into the car in front of me rubber necking ...

Definitely will need pics when you get it ...

Don't quite understand your dealer quote "they might have to finish it in Germany"?

All Boxsters are now assembled in Stuttgart since March 9 is my understanding, has this changed?

Great price, I wouldn't think an ordered car would be discounted so much but when your sales are as bad as Porsche any profit at all is positive. Sounds like a fantasic combination of colors and equipment.
I drove an 09 S with PDK on an autocross and was VERY impressed. Good luck and happy waiting..

I thought the Boxsters were made in Finland. Has that changed? Mine has a build date of 01/09 made in Finland...What prompted the change if it has?

Very nice. Carrara (this is the correct spelling- named after the Carrara marble in Italy- a very white marble) White looks great on the P-cars. I have a white 2006 987S.

Heated steering wheel in Cali?? And automatic climate control in a 2-seater?? I'd take a pass on these options and save the coin or invest in other goodies.

What about Sport Chrono? Or PSE??

Enjoy!

I think some are made in Finland and others still in Germany so it's a crap shoot which one you get as far as production goes. Just bought a Boxster base and mine was assembled in Finland while another I drove was made in Germany. Same model year 2009. Go figure.

Good luck with your car!

I always though about 80% of the Boxster production came from Finland. Your VIN will tell you where it came from.
