Tire Pressure
I just took delivery of an 09 Boxster S.
The car came with 36 PSI in the front and 40 in the rear. How lo can I go without killign the tread? I dropped it 3 all around so far, and so far the compromise is a bit better on the big bumps.
I thought forsure i had runflat tires, until likemystoppie pointed out i was incorrect and I had regular tires.
Any advice? I had a slight rattle, but it seems takign soem pressure out relieved the little squeek i had with the cup holders.

Look in the glovebox. You will find a book there called the owner's manual. The recommended pressures are listed there. If you don't have one then try 29psi front and 36psi rear.

Open the door and look down and you'll see the tire pressure suggestions by Porsche. I found in my 2009 C2S that TPMS was exactly correct. 33/39 by my high-end calibrated Longacre shows as 33/39 on TPMS.

'06 - 987S with 18's - previously with Contis (OEM) and now Goodyear F1 Assymetrics - for street, I use the 30 / 37 (F / R) cold pressure rec's on the door jam. For track, I keep it more balanced and generally keep hot pressure around 35 / 39 but am still playing with it.

My 09 S (got it friday) states 32/34 on the door label. Mine were quite a bit higher and really bumpy so I like the little softer ride at 32/34. PS just love the PDK!
