I've set up a poll and post on the 951/944 turbo board about who'd be interested in purchasing a Cayman as there next track P-car.

Hope you guy's can jump over and add your ownership experiences especially those who have owned a 944 Turbo before as there is quite alot of interest Get bunch of gents over there to meet also and non with a bad word to say about the Cayman so come and join us as the Cayman will be our next product development car after we finish current development projects 968, 964 and 993

Count me as a fan of the car. Some of the owners, on the other hand... lol but you find that with any model/make specific forum.

I hope to have one within a couple of months, altho I am looking for best gas mileage and am going to run the wheels off it as a dd, so I will likely look at base Caymans rather than an S. I'll still be keeping my 951, 968 and my wifes 928 as well.

Regards,

Mine is an S and I dd the car, 70 mi. per day with a mix of city (25%) and highway (75%); my mileage averages between 24 and 24.7 with average speed of 36-37 mph, all averaged over 1K mi. segments. I think it is pretty decent.
