Question 996 40th Anniversary or Cayman S

Hi All,
996 40th Anniversary and 06 Cayman S are now in mid/low the 30s with about 30k miles. I was wondering which would be a better buy? Anyone has owned/driven both? I have driven only the 996 and love it thought the clutch needs some time to used to. Thanks.

Go for the 911 - it's the "marque" of the brand - when your Cayman is five years older - you'll wish it was a 911...

It depends what you are looking for. If your looking for an investment then the 911, only because it is one of the 40th Anniversary cars. The 996's are least desirable 911 made and are not holding their value like the air cooled 911's. If you are looking for the most fun dollar for dollar then I would go with the Cayman S.

dont buy a porsche as an investment, take each one for a drive and pick one. I've had both and had fun in both. The 996 has slightly more power, I also like the look of the 40th as well as the color.
