Replacing a brake light bulb.
What's with getting the assembly out on the RIGHT side? The left side slides out with ease. Do you have to pull the carpeted piece out?

it is tricky. i had to push against the carpeted piece on one of the sides to pull the assembly out. make sure you get the right bulb. the parts department at the local dealer initially gave me the wrong one which i broke while my son and i where goofing around a gt2. luckily they gave me a new bulb. the way the notches at the base align vary.

Also ,Try not to touch the glass part on the bulbs .I did and it fried the bulb ,aparently the oils on the hand cause the bulbs to do this .I was told this after i went back to the auto parts store for my second replacement.

More of an issue for the headlight bulbs that get get much much hotter. But a good advice anyway. Thanks.
