Default Dealer Maintenance Charges Fair & Typical?

I very recently returned from my Porsche dealer after having a
2-year maintenace on my 2007 Cayman with a bit over 6,000 miles.
Cost was $572.67. A change of brake fluid was suggested, and I agreed
not asking the cost. Invoice listed charges:
Yearly service - $220.000
Oil filter - $22.04
Alum seal ring - $.50
Washer slovent - $3.15
9 qts Mobile 1 - $59.76
Brake fluid change - $214.30 (including 2 liters of fluid at $30.15 per liter).
New Wiper blade - $43.89.
A battery check at my request - $44.00.
Misc supplies for repair order - $35.00
Discount coupon - $91.88 (minus)
Tax - $16.99
Total - $572.67
Questions: 1. Does Porsche recommend a brake fluid change after two years?
2. Are these charges typical for dealer service?
3. Should some of these charges be included in the $220.00 yearly
maintenance fee?
Comments will be appreciated. Thanks.

You got screwed on the brake fluid change. It doesn't take 2 liters and it doesn't cost $30.15/liter.

Rusnak in Pasadena quoted me $220 for a brake flush & $799 for the 15K miles service on my 03 Turbo.

1. Changing the Brake Fluid every 2 years is recommended under Additional Maintenance in the manual.

2. Yes

3. Well the $220 appears to have included the labor charges for the oil change and general inspection that they do.

Why did you request the battery check?

Those numbers are close to what my dealer charges. Fair-no (IMHO), typical-yes.
I'm just glad that the '06's only require a 2yr service interval to meet warranty requirements. I do yearly oil changes myself.

Battery check: Battery ran down two or three times in the first months of ownership (left key in all the way.... now use battery tender). Plus engine does not turn over in a brisk manner, at least it seems to me. Battery check showed an 88% charge.... maybe it should have been closer to like over 95%?
Anyway I'll just change it when needs changing. We have a great independent Porsche/Audi mechanic in town who is reasonable and honest, so I'll be using him from now on. Thanks for your response, KS-CS. grn356 (yes, I have a green 356)

Why don't you just do the regular maintenance yourself, if you're concerned about cost? One it will save you money, and two you know you'll take more care with your car than some monkey employed by the stealership.

I'll be taking it to the dealer, but with my own brake fluid and Mobil 1. Saves a lot...
