Default Wheel Stud Question

Where can I find a wheel stud that I can hand tighten in the hub to hold my wheel in place until I get a couple of the bolts in?

There are wheel hangars on eBay and at Boothe Designs. Some people like to use two of them at a time to guide the wheel better.

This begs the question- why don't the hubs have studs anymore like the "old" Porsches? Sure is easier to work on the wheels on my 914?
