Dave - Now is the time to save big and get an unsold '08. If you search the Porsche dealer sites nationally, you'll find a bunch of well-optioned unsold '08s for base Cayman money (think $10-12K off sticker). It's like getting the depreciation for the first year or two paid for and you'll drive a new car to boot.

I actually traded my 997 S in on a leftover 2008 Cayman S (Black on Black) and got a SICK deal from my dealer. Car has lots of nice options and i think i was 16k off sticker
The Cayman S makes a great daily in my mind - very civil and "practical" for my needs (single dude, no kids, etc)
