Default 997 S vs. ZR1

Just took a ZR1 out for a little spin courtesy of a local dealer. I am contemplating a new 997 S for everyday use. I am seriously confused. The 997 S is clearly the better everyday car and a blast to drive. However, the ZR1 is incredible. The torque is amazing. The fit and finish is similar to Porsche. The power makes the S feel like a VW. Of course, you have to knock down the dealer markup.. not a big problem. It won't last for long. I love my GT3 and RS and would never part with them. But, the ZR1 may be a better deal than the 997 S. Porsche reliability has been getting worse with RMS, ignition switch problems, etc. I'm not sure about DFI and what new problems we might see this year. Depreciation? They all go down <except for the lovely RS> she is my baby.

Comment welcome.
