Default Boxster S rotors

Check out these rotors..!
2+ times the life of the factory cross drilled rotors, better performance.
We have tested them in race conditions for the last 6 months and have outlasted the factory ones and way better performance. We recomend Pagid Black RS-14 pads for track use.

Introductory price of $395 per set for the front.

What are they made of? What accounts for the "brass" color?

The reason I asked is that the OE rotors get a coating of rust when wet and thought maybe these would not rust. I am not that familiar with the anodizing process. Would that wear off and show the original iron after a while? Does the anodizing prevent rust?

Yes, the anodizing will stop the rust from forming on the parts that are not hit by the brake pads..

The OE Porsche rotors are painted with grey paint in those areas, only the aftermarket rotors have no paint and turn to rust in no time...if your rotors are rusting they are not from PORSCHE...
