Default First Porsche, 987s, need advice on Fair Price?

I have had my eye on the 987s since it was introduced in 2005, then my heart was set on the CS for the past year. Up until now am I able to pull the trigger on a CPO 987s or CS. If it hasn't been for a recent bike mishap I would have decided on a CS. Since I was lucky enough to walk away with minor scratches I have decided to put biking to rest, but I still want the open air enjoyment so it has to be the 987S. I have been searching the CPO and this model has sparked my interested. I live in Canada and will mostly likely purchase something unseen in person and have it shipped.

I was wondering what you guys think is a fair price for this 987S? Would an offer of $43,000 be considered to low.

Hi Jay - the price is high for a 2005 by a fair bit - I would be at $43-$44K on the car even with the CPO.

If you want a lower optioned but very well sorted 2006 (10/05 in service date) 987-S I am offering an additional $700 off to Rennlist members - (now at $41800)

Not a bad price on the 2005 or 2006 - depends on what color you want, options, etc. Here is another:
