I'm preparing to replace the Bose amp and the CDR-24 headunit but need a schematic to figure out the wiring to the speakers ( I did try to search but couldn't find anything).

I'd very much appreciate it if somebody could post a schematic showing the wiring between the Bose amplifier and the speakers including the pinout on the Bose Amp connector.

BTW the car is a -08 Cayman S with the non-PCM Bose system.

 

I guess nobody's got a copy of the schematic.

Any recommendations for where I can get one?

 

good luck, your dealer doesnt even have one, the dealers are all online, they could be printed but its not even practical to try to print them, they are useless printed

 

Be forwarned; that the wiring DID indeed change for MY08. We found that out the hard way when a client wanted a NON BOSE car's amp replaced with the BOSE unit. Ain't gonna happen easily.


My .02 cents worth; have a professional do it- at least if they screw it up it's on them and not you.

And yes, the schematic's are ALL online to Porsche personnal. Not sure if it's able to be DL or printed.
