Boxster S vs. Boxster RS 60 Spyder: Pricing for option equivalency
Was going through some of my Porsche materials and came across this Porsche RS60 "briefing" document entitled:
"Boxster S vs. Boxster RS 60 Spyder: Pricing for option equivalency"
It nicely lays out in a succinct fashion the optional extras that came on the RS 60 (including option codes), what it would have cost to similarly equip a Boxster S, and the approximate $13K value proposition the RS 60 posed for those enamored with the package.
A nice reference doc for RS 60 owners.

What # is this car? Mine was #800. I traded it at a dealer in Morganton NC 3 years ago. Only difference I see is yours doesn't have full colored crests on the wheel caps (I think). Believe they all came with full colored crests.

I imagine you're the only person that's ever made that statement, or ever will. It's the same cluster as every other 987, just without the hood above it. The silver is also matching GT silver. Personally I never liked the additive cluster hood which served little purpose. The RS60, being a commemorative model, included other unique components which weren't from the Porsche parts bin like the gearshift and tailpipes. I applaud Porsche for adding unique parts which is something they seem to have stopped doing. Their connection to their distant past is becoming less and less. I don't see much in the new Carrera T that was modeled after the original, aesthetically comparatively.

She still looks the same as your pix from 11 years ago! It's great that this forum exists as a sort of "time capsule" for us newer owners. These cars still turn heads! Most people have no idea of their age. I stopped for gas the other day and the attendant asked to have me take his picture with my car.
