Might as well throw this out...We've got one more allocation for one of these, in case anybody is interested.

A stock 986 sounds like a freakin' sewing machine. He MUST do something with the exhaust or at least "de-snork". The 987's exhaust note is vastly better than 986. The 987 PSE must be nice!

That instrument cluster is certainly different. Definitely not my cup-o-tea, though. Takes garish to an all new level.

Congratulations Mark!

I went Thursday and it was still there... very tempted to get rid of the Lexus and have Mara drive that one instead, if it was not for the need of back seats for the children... 6K discount of the MSRP without even asking...

It a beautiful car... best special edition so far based on the Boxster, imho of course...

One thing I discovered last weekend as I installed the RS60 tips on my '08 987s: The RS60 tips have dual pipes running straight back to the "cross pipe", rather than merging into a single pipe before connecting to the cross pipe (like the other 987 tips). My non scientific guess is that it flows better than the normal setup. Pain in the heinie to install, but kind of a nice touch on a normal 987s.

Just picked up a RS60 on Saturday. What a great car. This one has the gray interior.....works better for me. The exhaust sounds good (but not nearly as good as my 997 GT3). The RS60 is fun to drive around town and is good on the highway as well.

I think a GT3 and a RS60 are a perfect pair. Also my wife is up for driving the RS60....she is scared of the GT3 and won't touch it. I might get her to the track now.....cheers.

If this is correct:

"And you all can check your Boxster and CaymanS manufacturing plant from your car's VIN. Like WPO ZZZ **Z*U *****,where U is for Uusikaupunki, when S is for Stuttgart and my 951 has N for Neckarsulm,an Audi plant. And Cayennes should have L as Leipzig."

Then my RS60 is built in Finland. Its been great so far. I love the car. I took my GT3 out for a ride last night....its like a wild animal compared to the RS60. The RS60 is just fun fun fun!!!! The GT3 is awesome......the RS60 is fun (fun fun!!!). A great ride around town....cheers.

I drove one of our RS Spyder's to be displayed at a certain location; and drove a C2S Cabriolet back. Man, I thought the RS was way more fun! And it's just gorgeous no matter what angle you look at.

I want it.
