Default 11" 911 wheels on Boxster

A customer of mine wants to run 11" 911 Carrera sport wheels on the rear of his Boxster S, I am trying to help him with this little project. The wheel offset calc tells me that with a 15mm spacer it would be great, my concern is that will I have issues with spacing to the strut. I did a search and didnt find anything too helpful except someone running 10s in the rear from a 911. any help is appreciated.

TIA.
Rich

Maybe you can talk him into a 10" wheel (along with a 8.5" front); both with proper Boxster S offsets. One approach: You could ask him why he wants to spend all that money to slow acceleration and increase understeer.

The car doesn't need more rear tire, given my experience and the magazine review I've read. It's nicely balanced - as Jim said don't mess with adding more understeer.

If it's looks he's after recommend spacers or wheels with the right offsets - the factory offsets are just goofy. Champion makes high quality wheels with the right offsets
