Has anyone removed the door panels on a 07 Cayman S, if so what is required to get them off? Any help would be appreciated.
I thought you got this answered when you posted the same question on CaymanClub about 2 weeks ago and then added "Thanks for the door panel info, I'll give it a shot."
I got the info about door panal removal, however nothing was said about what you have to do regarding the air bag. and the part about prying off the door pull handle was not very clear, and I'm not going to start prying on things until I know for sure the outcome. Anything that you can tell me to make it a little clearer would be great. THANKS
The air bag is mounted to the door and not the door panel, so no need to be concerned with it.
The door pull has 4 clips holding it on...just pry it off away from the panel. There are 2 torx screws here holding the panel besides the other 3 mentioned elsewhere...one to the left of the left clip and one between the two clips on the right.
