Oh an I have a quick question. Why does the Cayman already have rust spots on the brake discs? I don't recall seeing that before it rained. My 944 has been in all kinds of weather and it's never gotten rust on the brake discs... Is this something to be worried about?
No. Not sure why you don't see it on your 944, but when I wash either my 993 or Cayman, you can see the Iron Oxide corrosion start before you get the car dry. This is normal because the disc rotors are as bare as metal can get. You can notice this at car dealerships that have not driven the cars in a few days. No biggie.
