Default First Post--Introduction

First post here. I have been searching for a new car and test drove the Cayman S this last weekend. I am totally smitten and will be posting assorted questions over the next several weeks regarding an impending purchase.

Current rides are a '98 M3 (daily driver/track toy) and 430 (weekend toy). I instruct for the local PCA, BMW and Lotus clubs at HPDE's.

I'm looking forward to joining in the fray.

Although rennlist is excellent, caymanclub.net has more info. I frequent the 997 board here because it is very active and has lots of information relevant to the Cayman. BTW, I have an '07 Cayman S.

Good Luck!

Scott,

Welcome to the club. And where might 'local' be?

So is Los Gatos--I have two great friends from school who live in Los Gatos.

Close. I actually live in Los Altos. But Los Gatos is a very nice place indeed. This is but one of the reasons why.

Did somebody say Portland?!?!?

(..we're looking to relocate there sometime next year...we'll actually be out there for vacation in early August..)

Oh, by the way, do the Cayman, you'll love it!
