What Color?

Dubai911, yes, the interior color and design is primary - exterior color is secondary - exactly for the reason you noted. If my goal was to impress someone else (beside myself) with the color, I would want to impress the person I invited to ride with me, not some stranger gawking at my car while parked or at a stop light. Find the interior color and design options you want, and the exterior color will follow.
And why waste money on exterior color to sample? Porsche has 99% of the good colors covered already - that's why Porsche Marketing Dept. is paid the big bucks. I have yet to see a color-to-sample that was better than "interesting, but I'd get tired of that in a week."
IMHO, focus on the interior for long term satisfaction. BTW, GT Silver/Cocoa is a great color combo.

Now I'm back to Macadamia with Natural full leather interior with Carrera Sport wheels. Very rich combo, unique, and I think it elevates the perceived value of the car.

It's not on the configurator yet. It's a dark brown metallic, same color as the turbo cab release pics, look at page 1 of this post, I posted a pic of it. Available on 08's saw it at my dealer on his configurator.

Le Chef, on the German configurator they've fianlly uploaded all the 08 colors for the Turbo Cab.
Macadamia is available there, tried it with cocoa, agree it's too brown, I like it with natural, very rich (don't forget here in Dubai tan interiors are appreciated because of their light color and the heat)
Black is interesting, but too dark ? No

Depending on how much time and money you have to spare you might consider Sand Beige with Macademia contrasting stitching rather than Natural Brown - it's a little lighter. Or consider older Porsche interior colors like Linen.
