This car carries a Porsche VIN. It was modified immediately after delivery to Joe at Zuffenahusen by Alois Ruf in Pfaffenhausen. It has Ruf suspension, brakes, S/Charger and the body treatments that are most obvious. Interior is Cocoa Brown,--stock.

It's the first 3400K by Ruf of the Cayman S. It took several months to be sorted out. It was finally finished and shipped to Long Beach from Germany this month.

RUF would not be happy to hear that!

In reference to: "RUF would not be happy to hear that!", this following quote contradicts that:

If they truely build to customer specs...I'd say leave the stock mirrors

Since Joe had arragned for Alois Ruf to paint the car there was no need for Porsche to provide it in anything other than white.

Joe is always grinning when driving it. Have had no time with him to discuss the performance or time in the car. We're on contrasting schedules. He took it to Parade this year and won something.
