Is it possible to have the Nav screen display the Porsche Crest besides just when it is starting up? My Dad's XJ8 allows him to display the Jaguar leaper as sort of a standby image and it would be great if you could do that with the Porsche crest. Any ideas? It's PCM 2.1 on a 2005 Boxster S.

Try this -

Hold down "MAIN" and "TRIP".
Once you've entered the diagnostic screen, turn the right **** nine "clicks" counter-clockwise, then "click" that ****.

Turn the left (volume) **** clockwise eight times, then click that ****.

Finally, turn the right **** clockwise seven times.

Press the "return" button (the curved line w/arrow at the end) twice to get back to the main display, honk the horn three times.

Open the front trunk lid and remove the Navigation DVD. Insert Disney's "The Lion King" DVD to see if it will play - it will not. Remove Disney's "The Lion King" DVD and replace with the OEM Navigation DVD. Close the trunk lid, walk inside the house, make a sandwich.

The instructions for this clearly read to turn the left **** 9 times, not 8!

you probably used mayonnaise instead of Miracle Whip on the sandwich.
