Default Camera mount

Greetings everyone!

I am looking for some help from more experienced track junkies here. I need a camera mount for my 987, so any help/suggestions/ideas are welcome and greatly appreciated.

Thank you all

I use the I/O Port mount in mine (the BK mount won't fit the 987 rollbar). The mount comes with a set of carriage bolts, but these are not quite long enough so you'll need to go to a hardware store and get some slightly longer bolts. The bolts that come with it may be long enough if you take the padding off the rollbar hoops, but I don't.

I wrap a microfiber cloth towel around the inside hoop behind the driver seat, and tighten the mount to that. With the top up, I can position the mount low enough so I see through the front window, my hands, and the tach.

I heard that B/K was coming out with a mount for the 987, but still haven't seen any details on it. Also, I have the Bose upgrade, and taking out the sub and speaker enclosure beneath the rollbar is more work than I'm willing to do at the track.
