CEL 06 Boxster S
My wife took her Boxster to the selling dealership for its first oil change. While driving home the CEL started flashing an then went to solid. She called me. I told her to shut the engine off for 15 seconds and restart to see what would happen. The warning light went off and I told her to continue home. AS yet she isn't home!
Any experience with this problem?
We will watch the car closely for a few days and see what happens. I really get anxious when things like this happen. The car has always been babied and has about 3100 miles. It also is a TIP.

CEL u sually related to emission prob.
some 987 have "inefficient o2 sensors" (that's the read out from PIWIS).
it shouldn't disable the car however.
