Cool Car covers help

Does the leather sometimes get so hot its hard to sit down in the car, and would you buy a black interior convertible again?

I have had all colors and black is indeed the hardest to take in the summer. I always use a car cover with it in the sun - makes for a pleasant entry.

Hey, a bit late but for what it's worth, we have cocao brown leather... it's awesome! It looks dark enough with the top up to pass for black, looks beautiful with the top down... we live in the desert... it's hot on a sunny day of course... but we can only have the top down here when it's below about 85 anyway...

I have the black-stone/grey two-tone interior on my 06 987S and like it quite a bit. Previously I had the tan interior on my 05 987 base. The tan definitely was harder to keep clean, both trim and mats. The black/grey just shows dust more, but is ultimately easier to keep looking good. I noticed no difference in cabin heat or surface heat between the two.
