For anyone looking for a cleaner pad I can highly recommend Hawk HPS. I’ve had them for 2 weeks now and they are quiet with virtually no dust. I don’t know how they will hold up on heavy track use but the pad gives a firmer peddle feel
Purchased through Rennlist sponsor AJ USA.
They get a big thumbs up too! Fast shipping! Good Price
FYI
Pads for 987S never seem to be listed in catalogs or on websites
The fitment for 987S is supposedly the same front and rear as 996 Carrera

If you like the Hawks, the HP-10 is the pad for the track. I believe that it is superceded by a newer but similar compound. The Hawk blues are only for racing, and shouldnever be used for normal driving, even if is "just to get to the track".

The HP-10 is a more agressive pad then the "blues" as they are made to run at a higher temp. The blues are made to run between Operating Temp 250F to 1000F. The HP-10 is made to run Operating Temp 300F to 1600F.

I don't know if we are talking about the same "blue" pad. Everyone that I know who runs them says that they are terribly abrasive on the rotors when they are cold, and should not be run on the street due to that. The HT-10s are ok to go back & forth to the track.
