Sounds good. I finally got mine installed too. I like it, but was it worth the money? In my opinion, no. I also wanted to dyno the car before and after, but I wasn't able to because they couldn't find anywhere to get an RPM signal from. Oh well. It does sound incredible!

Mbodo,
Man that sounds wicked as S**T !!!
Is it a little loud for a daily driver?
Tkarwin,
Why do you not think it’s worth the money? HP gain? Don’t like the sound?

It is a little loud for a daily driver, which is precisely why I don't drive it every day ;-) Actually at highway speeds it isn't so bad until you get on it, or if you are low rpms i.e. below 2500rpm.
Unfortunately the video cut out and you guys didn't get to see the "ending" .. I'll have to work on that; damn Adobe Premeir.

type987s,
The stock system sounds great. The Tubi system sounds ever better, but that is pretty much all it does. I didn't notice any improved power or throttle response. There was even a slight bit of resonance in the cabin, which I find unacceptable for that amount of money. The resonance seems to be disapating as the system gets broken in though. We shall see if it totally goes away. There is also a little bit of drone in the cabin at lower RPM ranges. (2000-2750) I am sure this won't be a problem with the top down, but it is a problem with it up. I guess I just think that for the price it should be pretty darn flawless, as well as add some power.

Sounds good. Not really sure it's worth the price tag though.

Should be available on google video with the same link within the next few hours.
updated link in post above, also here: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...87337131341755 no Nine Inch Nails soundtrack.
FYI- "Beep" you hear is speed warning @ 90MPH

2250. Ok. My dad just got back from vacation and drove the car with the exhaust on it and he says it has significantly better throttle response. It is his car so he knows it better than I do. I am always impressed with the throttle response. I guess I take back my post about no added throttle response. He is really happy with it.

wasn't interested in dyno'ing before/after .. was more interested in the sound. One thing I failed to mention but was brought up to me after I had made the video -- when I was backing out of the garage, someone was in my condo waiting for us to get back. She said "the whole G-ddamned place was shaking". No wonder neighbors on both sides of me have moved out!
Using my patented Butt Dyno 5000, I can tell you, from a subjective point of view, it is more fun to drive, by at least 50%.

I have a Tubi on my 06 987S. I have to say its made the car much more fun to drive and while maybe the power it adds is marginal, I definitely feel much better throttle response. The car is not my daily driver so the noise/low rpm drone does not bother me at all. I can also tell you that when you fly by people in other cars, they really wonder what kind of engine is under the hood. It sounds very wicked indeed. I took the car to Champion Motorsports in Pompano Beach and also did H&R springs designed for PASM and the 19" RG5 Champion wheels. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the mods and look forward to every winking moment behind the wheel, unlike my previous M3, that was def fast, but no where close in the fun factor. I would recommend the Tubi highly.
