Default Retro painted logo scripts

This was my weekend project. I broke my 'B' off during a recent wash. I thought the Titanium on Arctic looked a little blah. I ordered a 986 flat black script and a new 'S'. Had my friend paint the 'S' Saab Chili Red Pearl. It turned out nice. (for my tastes anyway).

We paint factory logos nearly any/every color imagineable.

One trick: be sure to use painter's tape to line up the old one before removal, and you won't have the out of place "S" as shown on the Boxster. Try to move it down a bit if you can.

We even have a custom red we use to match the tail lights.

The dealership removed my broken one then rewaxed it so I didn't have anything to go from. I used a little alcohol to prepare the surface and then I used blue painters tape to try and get them lined up -- but once the 'S' touched down it was quite stuck. I too thought it was a little high but did not know how to remove it to move it. Got any suggestions.

p.s. Hi eric, I have your bumper plugs on my 993.

jrok....heat it with a blow dryer, low speed and see if you can lift it at all. It may break. So don't go too far. If not, slip dental floss under a corner and try to work it off.

Get some Wurth or 3M Emblem Tape (it's orange, very VERY thin, NOT foam backed, and comes on a roll in a blister pack) if you have to reapply to get it down.

The top of the 'S' should be no further up than the top of the 'B' and a small bit of it will reside below the line....
