Was that tire smoke, or engine smoke out of the back of the Cayman?

every so often m96 motors will blow some white smoke (blow by, oil separator is too small so i was told) when you corner hard and get on gas right after a down shift. i had that in my 996c2 as well. but the car/motor never had any problem other than scary the **** out of the tailgator

Nice vid. Thanks for sharing.

You guys have so much run-off room compared to what we have in the East!

Great vids Fong! Good sound too, remote mic?

What's with all the plastic barrels in the esses (12-13) and 15? That's not gonna be good for my lap times...

Mooty, when's your next track day? I'll be there 9/6 next (or maybe 9/1 if I can make it).

i can't do 9/6
9/8, 9/15/ 9/22-9/24 i'll be at TH
9/7 9/16-17 i'll be at LS
i know i know, but it's my birth-month (birthday is too short), so i am trying to do as many days in september as i can, LOL.

i am out of tires, and RA1, Nitto N01 are out of my size. i may have to buy 2 sets of mpsc for sept.

9/1 is T.E.A.M. (who I've never heard of):
http://home.onemain.com/~bonster/
Looks interesting because the attendance is really thin so far, maybe it'll fill up as we get closer:
http://home.onemain.com/~bonster/thunderhill.html

I'll be @ TH 9/6, 9/13, 9/21-22

I didn't know you did GGR events. They won't let me attend because I didn't go to their ground school even though I did a DE with them a few years ago. (Maybe you can pull some strings for me and get me an exemption for their next DE...)

When's your next SP date? I need to get one of those on the calendar.

never ran with GGR before. i will do ground school 9/2. i got a few ppl in GGR who will vouch for me so i dont have to start at the lower groups.
