Default 07 Boxsters

Anyone have one yet? Someone on Edmunds said he ordered in April, had July build date and picked it up on Aug 3. It's curious that the Porsche website still shows the 06 specs. Also the non-S Cayman isn't up on the website and they are out.

Is this that German vacation thing? They drop what they're doing and head for the hills?

Porsche's USA website always seems to be the last to get updated. The new 2007 order guides are available, if you have not seen those yet. You can download them from renntech.org.

Strange, I seem to recall seeing the 3.4L 2007 Boxster on Porsche.com/usa for at least a month.

There is also the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). And a 15 lb-ft increase in torque on the S. Non-S only gets 2 ft-lb increase. The Tip is also revised but this doesn't interest me.

The gent on Edmunds said he paid $59,000 on an MSRP of $64,393.

That looks too "Ferrari wannabe" for me. I think that they got the back of the current 987 S just right.

The only part of this package I like is the rear spoiler. Does anyone know if it can be purchased separately? Cost?

I just received the new 07 Boxster promo in the mail last week from Porsche. None at our dealer yet.
